Secret 7" // Stuart's sleeve revealed...

Stuart contributed to this year's Secret 7" project in aid of Amnesty International UK. The project takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7" vinyl.  They then invite creatives from around the world to interpret the tracks in their own style for every 7".  700 sleeves are then exhibited and sold for £50 a piece. You don't know who created the sleeve, or even which song it's for, until you have parted with your cash - the secret lies within..!We can now reveal Stuart's artwork for The Jam track 'Art School' below.  A massive thanks to Laura Glennie and all the students at Glasgow School of Art who worked with Stuart to make this happen!(front)Secret7sml(back)TheArtSchool-Back-FLAT-CMYK‘Models’Laura Glennie (red hair/black jacket)Lucy Payne (red scarf/blue beanie)Ashleigh Miller (long camel trench coat/black beanie)Heidi Chiu (yellow jumper/blue tipped hair)Calum Macleod (golden kimono/boxer outfit)Fiona Smith (ginger hair/pink puff jacket)Peter McKenna (yellow hair/green hat)Caitlin O’Connell (stripy scarf/blue puff jacket)Aphra Pilkington (stripy scarf/pink trainers)Athena Ross-Michaelides (Orange Kimono/Fur jacket)Celeste Chambers-Hill (Blue bobbed hair/stripy trousers)Jonathan Ramdeen (guy in black glasses and beanie hat)Laura Glennie sourced the ‘models’ and helped with the costumes and Caitlin O’Connell, Stuart Murdoch and Laura Glennie did the graphic design/layout of the album!
