What can I say about my experience leaving the U.S. for the first time? I smoked a lot of cigarettes. I slept on dry grass parks during the day, my french was shy. I thought about men a lot. I was happier than I'd been in a long time, everything far away. I drank the sweet wine and stayed up late talking about my favorite melodies and duets with other musical friends. This one is my favorite.The picture enclosed is from a postcard I bought there and never sent.
